Augustus Townsend:
From WolfWikis
To me Augustus seems like one of the most “normal” characters. I feel that his view of the world would be one of the most real and honest. He had to endure being a slave under Robbins, work long and hard to save the money to earn/buy his freedom and that of his wife and son Henry, and then had to later face the issue of his own son owning a slave. Augustus would probably have a very cynical view of the world considering the things that he had gone through, and especially after he was unjustly sold back into slavery and then shot. I feel that Augustus would see the world as unfair, but he is also a very reasonable man- one who would understand that the world is not fair, and never will be.
