CrossFireCommander vs. DiscoveryGate

From WolfWikis

Jump to: navigation, search

This page is designed to assist users of the Beilstein and Gmelin databases. The NCSU Libraries have two methods of accessing these databases: CrossFire Commander and DiscoveryGate. Below is a comparison of these two methods. Note that the information content is precisely the same. Only the interface differs.

Librarian recommendation

The Libraries will not retain our subscription to DiscoveryGate past Fall 2008 so we must recommend using CrossFire Commander. Unfortunately DiscoveryGate has proven too expensive for the number of users. Please let us know if you will be inconvenienced by its disappearance.
