Podcasting for Educators
I. Introduction [ Podcasting][1] involves creating or listening to audio and/or video content through the Web or other audio devices such as an MP3 player or iPod or even cell phone. Through podcasting, both teachers and students can create content. All that is needed to make a podcast is a recording device and perhaps editing software such as [[Audacity][2]], a free and easy-to-use audio editing software.
Before you begin, you should have a script or other outline of your content and any non-copyrighted music or sound clips you plan to use, preferably in MP3 format.
Once your podcast is created you can save it to your harddrive, a CD, an USB memory stick, or to a web page. For this project, you will save your podcast to your NCSU AFS/Unity/K space and then post your link on this wiki.
