NCSU Earth Week 2008: Energy, Environment, Everyone
Earth Day at NCSU is a large celebration of environmental awareness conducted in the NC State University Brickyard in late April of each year. Planning for Earth Day is a massive undertaking and we welcome involvement from all students, faculty and staff. This WolfWiki was established to assist in the dissemination of information (such as minutes and committee reports) to the larger group. Please feel free to contribute!

MONDAY, APRIL 21st Centennial Campus Event; POC: Amy Lubas Electronics Recycling Drive 10 - 2 PM in front of Venture Buildings Centennial Campus Partnership sponsors a FREE electronics recycling drive with information on how to responsibly dispose of your household e-waste. movie: KILOWATT OURS ~ 9PM, WITHERSPOON CINEMA
TUESDAY, APRIL 22nd Bikes in the Brickyard 10-2PM; POC: Torsha and Abraham Campus Transportation, WESA, and campus bike groups offer free tune ups and activities to promote sustainable transportation. speaker: Dr. Jay Baliga, 5:30-6PM, Riddick 451 tour: NCSU Energy Mgmt. office-led tour of Campus Steam Plant and energy facilities movie: Everything's Cool ~ 9PM, WITHERSPOON CINEMA
WEDNESDAY, APRIL 23rd Human Energy; POC: BUS 495 Exercise, Nutrition, Consumption... energy begins with YOU! Look for Wednesday activities highlighting the all important connection between energy and individual behavior this day. tour: Advanced Energy's Motor Testing Lab, 1PM-2PM, leaving Brickyard at 12:45PM speaker: Dr. Robert Jackson, 4:30-6PM, Riddick 451; reception at 4PM outdoor movie: 9PM, "END OF SUBURBIA" on HARRIS FIELD
THURSDAY, APRIL 24th Campus Environment Day Brickyard Display on Campus Environment, Energy & Environment Research Posters tour: NC State University Solar House (leaving brickyard at 12PM) free food speakers: PRICEY HARRISON; TALLEY BROWN ROOM 5-6PM; POC: Hannah Recycled Art Exhibit: Gregg Gallery, Talley, 6PM-9PM
