Instructional Strategies

Introduction to The Wiki Book of Instructional Strategies for Adult Learners
The purpose of this "book" is to provide profiles of instructional strategies particulalry appropriate for adult learners. For the purposes of this book, the term "strategy" refers to those activities used by educators to engage learners with the content of their courses. As is evident in the selected strategies, they vary in breadth and depth, but the core purpose is still the same: to engage the learner, to connect the learner, with the content.
The members of the Instructional Strategies class, EAC 538, are the authors of this resource, and their profiles indicate their varied interests, backgrounds, professsional positions and challenges. Each profile contains set categories of information, along with a reference list for those wishing more in-depth information on a particular strategy.

About this project
The members of EAC 538, Instructional Strategies, are to be commended on their willingness to venture into the land of wikis to create this resource for themselves, and hopefully, for other adult educators. We welcome additions to this resource, while still keeping the identity of the original authors in tact.
