== Earth Day 2008 Meeting Minutes. January 10, 2008- Student Chambers – 12 P.M. ==

Attendees: Ryan Powell, Lindsay Batchelor, Analis Fulghum, Derek Moretz, Lyra Rakusin, Megan Cain, Hannah Fornes, Wade Fulghum, Paul Williams, Edward Sekmistrz, Bill Winner

1. Welcome and (re) introductions. 2. Responsibilities- asking everyone to find sponsorship, vendors, and/or donation ideas. · Next week preliminary sponsorship letter.

3. Themes – Dr. Winner speaks about theme ideas for every day of the week with a speaker for each day. Also, hold some sort of theme related event in the Brickyard and ask the Chancellor to announce what NCSU will do to promote the theme.

Examples:

• Monday- Energy Production & Use
• Tuesday: Energy & Society (Economics Policy)
• Wednesday: Energy & Resource use at N.C. State
• Thursday: Energy & the Environment (Green House Gas)
• Friday: Energy Impact

4. Motto- Ryan & Derek will work with BUS 465 for logo design, overall them and motto, and every aspect of marketing.

7. Earthwise Award Criteria- Kim Bernard will be coming up with Earthwise Award parameters.

8. Wolf Wikis- Ryan will send out link to Wolf Wiki. This will be the primary way to update group on your subcommittee’s progress.
