Alright crew,

I came to the firm realization over the past week that I was going to have to change my inquiry project. Taking on the task of discovering everything I could possibly know about Cameron Village and how it has changed the economy in NC since its' development simply was too large of a feat. So, instead I searched my brain for something I'm truly passionate about--MUSIC! I love music--especially local groups and bands that have originated in NC. I started thinking about my students that I am working with at CCMS and how much music impacts them. For all I know, one of these students could be the next Jimi Hendrix. I think music impacts people in huge ways so I want my students that are passionate about music to be able to know about the various musicians that have roots in North Carolina. There is just such a huge variety! So-I have been racking my brain on this topic since the switch-a-roo!

I am writing a research paper and have been researching several different artists mostly using wikipedia as my main search engine. I have also been reading a ton of music reviews and reading a lot of music journals and copies of Rolling Stone magazine. I have also interviewed several music buffs around me and have been learning some incredible things! Now, this is an inquiry I am passionate about! So, I am really excited about this. here's some awesome sites that i have found so far...

Next Step: I'm in some good stages for my draft and have been getting a lot of peer editing! Here's an outline for my paper. Also, at the bottom are some ideas that i have for some creative additions to my research paper to make it come alive!
