History
The Palestinian Liberation Front was founded in 1959 by Ahmed Jibril, who later left the group to form the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine. In 1977, Abu Abbas, also known as Muhammed Zaidan, re-established the group in pursuit of seeking a free Palestinian state and causing harm to Israel for the repression of Palestinians. With its headquarters based in Baghdad, Iraq, the group's members draw financial support from the country. Families of suicide bombers receive $25,000 from Iraqi leaders.
