In this wiki (WEIRD) (I am attempting to collaboratively answer the following questions and attain the following goals: This wiki is not the general WolfWiki but instead an individual wiki set up within the Wolf system to facilitate research on wikis in writing and the writing process. For definitions of some of the terms mentioned below as well as definition important to the research on this topic see definitions page.
- Application of wikis to pedagogy and paradigm.
- Some of the goals of which are:
- Enhancing the student learning environment
- Increasing student knowledge

- History of wiki use in recent studies.
- Where we are today.
- Implications of wiki use in writing.
- How do wikis communicate writing goals, methods, and paradigms to students?
- Are these (goals, methods, and paradigms) realistic goals for wikis? If not, what are the realistic goals/purposes of a wiki?
- Can teachers use wikis to propose writing paradigms and encourage various modes of writing (expressivism, social-cognitivistic, postmodern, etc.)?
- What aspects of wikis develop various paradigms in composition?
- How will the use of wikis by composition teachers (and teachers in other disciplines who are communicating the writing aspect of their disciplines) contribute to student learning and progress?
- Are wikis a passing fad or here to stay and contribute to education?
- Uses and potential uses of wikis in the teaching of writing.
