Explanation

Whenever you have a multi-page site it is easier to keep your pages looking consistent by using templates and/or CSS. Templates let you ensure that the layout of the page will stay consistent. CSS will ensure that your layout and your formatting, colors, etc. will stay consistent. Using templates and CSS you will only need to make design changes to your site in one location and the changes will propagate out to all of the other pages. Without templates and CSS and formatting changes will have to be made to each page individually.
