The Libraries' service for obtaining material not available in the collection. NCSU students, faculty, and staff can request books, articles, or other documents, which can be borrowed via interlibrary loan.
- FREE for NCSU faculty, staff, students.
- If we're able to borrow the material from a Triangle institution (UNC, Duke, or NC Central) turnaround time is very quick, usually about two days.
- You can use Search TRLN if you want to check availability at local institutions.
- If we don't find a copy locally, we look to other libraries. This will take a little longer.
- Articles are usually scanned and sent electronically.
