From WolfWikis
Wake Up, Freddy is a short 20 minute film showing different energy sources and the path that evergy takes to get to a household. Freddy lived in Boston and his Alarm clock goes off in the morning to wake him up. Once the alarm goes off we get to see the power plant that the electricity previously came from. We travel by every wire, cable, and tube that that electricity travels through. We follow it all over the plant and outside on wires and underground cables. Then Freddy turns on his shower and we go to the lake that is his water source and see how far and all the pipes that the water travels through. Then his shower water goes down the drain and we follow the water through those pipes to the waste water treatment center. Then Freddy makes breakfast and we see how bread is made and then distributed. After breakfast freddy throughs out some trash and we see te trash man pick up the bag and we follow the dumptruck to the dumpsite and then it is put in the landfill. This film was produced in 1993 and is recommended for grades 2-7. But it still a very interesting film and shows the process and power of every thing that goes through your fingertips every day.
