The author of this page, Alan Youngblood, has been working at Delta with Senior Multimedia Specialist, Mike Cuales on using video game technology for learning applications at NCSU since 2005.  The field of gaming, although young has grown at remarkable paces over the last few decades.  We are trying to research and deliver content that will help instructors and various other faculty around campus harness this technology and utilize it in a feasible way.  It's a lot harder than it may sound because regardless of the skills present in a research/dev team, there's always the problem of time and funding, technological limitations and so forth.  I hope this page will open a web dialog in Wiki format where I can post my findings, as well as let the community on campus also contribute to our growing knowledge base.
